Rick: I was wrong

What was the reason behind Rick’s comments? 

In this Nightline interview with Ashleigh Banfield, Rick opens up and admits that he had a chip on his shoulder—a byproduct of growing up as a poor minority.  “In a strange way,” Rick states, “I was feeling like Jon Stewart wasn’t respecting me… and that’s why I lashed out and I was wrong.”
