Guestbook
We miss you Rick. Actually we dropped our cable for over the air tv when you went off. Our way of protesting.
Rick Sanchez is one of my favorite news anchor/journalist, and he is greatly missed on CNN! I only hope and pray that new doors will be opening soon for him, and that greater opportunities will come in his direction very soon! I'm definately watching out for his next show!
Its too bad when a huge news organization like CNN fires a minority like Rick Sanchez. His remarks set off a lot of people but it was not that big of a blip to render losing his job. The following week people were talking about something else and most were probably shocked when he was fired. I agree it was in poor taste to single out Jews but calling someone like Jon Stewart a bigot is nothing to blink at. Jon can take it, he's dealt worse than that on his show.
My vote is to bring back Rick Sanchez. He brought a lot of news worthy causes and events to his show, and he also did things that nobody in their right mind would do....like allowing someone to taze him!! That was funny, I couldn't believe he did that!
Hope to see you soon some where, Rick. God Bless!!
I loved your show rick's list. I emailed msnbc to hire you
Hey Mr. Sanchez. I loved you show on CNN. I don't hate you. I mean, a lot of people have their own opinions on different things. And you were just expressing yours. I love how you cover the news and get everything. I wish I could watch you on CNN, uncovering Egypt. You brought me into Politics. Before you, I wasn't really into News. But I saw your show once, and immediately loved it. I gained a deep love for CNN greater than any other news broadcasting channel, and just about all the credit goes to you. I was greatly grieved when my cousin told me that your show was canceled. I was very, very upset. I still am. I hope to see you soon, wherever, doing the thing you do best: reporting the news, as it happens, when it happens, via social media. THANK YOU!
Rick I hope the best for you and your family. I know hard times plays games with your head I hope this experience brings you to the place you should be. I think the stars are lining up in your favor and something great is coming your way. I am sick of the propaganda in our news I wish the real truth would come forth. I think many people are hungry for substance in the news. Giving a voice to the voiceless. helping to turn this country around. Maybe if you did an interview with a Mr. John Stadtmiller on Republic News Radio and put out what your all about you would get some support from a place you never thought.I don't think Mr. Stadtmiller will railroad you just show you a different audience. Noel
Dear Rick,
I've followed you since your days on MSNBC, and I've always admired your professionalism. Watching you was watching a real person reporting the news. I know there are better things in your future. I wish you and your family all the best.
Good luck in all you do. You'll be back on the air in no time, better than ever.
With all this time off, you should learn to surf. Best sport in the world.
Happy new year Rick. Hope this year brings you much success in the world of broadcast journalism. Hopefully, we will see someone of our cultural background in a prominent position on evening news very soon. Aside from Geraldo, you were the only other latino anchor who actually embraced your background proudly and did not try cover up your roots. Many other "hispanic" anchors typically try to blend in and essentially deny their cultural identity by doing this. They may say they are hispanic, but then in the next breath they behave pretentiously, and that is not the core of the true latino or hispanic. Typically, it is instilled in us to aspire to greater things, but always remember our heritage and remain humble and appreciate every opportunity we have to reach our full potential. Take care and best of luck.
Hi Rick,
One day when I was about 11 years old I saw a very intelligent, humble Hispanic man who reporting on WSVN-7 during Hurricane Andrew. His name is Rick Sanchez. Your career inspired me so much that I joined a Broadcasting Magnet program in South Miami Senior High School. I found this page today and I want you to know that we need more news anchors like you. Never give up the fight and I am looking forward to seeing you soon on tv. Good luck and God bless.
