If there are any themes we have lost our grip on in this society they are the capacity of ALL humans beings to say or do something in error, the obligation of us to the have the capacity to forgive and look at things in context, and the capacity of God for redemption. If we had such a handle on these, I am convinced that Rick would never have been fired or at least would already be back on the air. I miss the show, the edginess, and I hope not only that Rick comes back but that he keeps doing what he does. When so much pastel corporate drivel is poored out by Fox and CNN, it was nice to have someone who seemed by all measure to be a "regular guy" who understood the plight of the common man in all of this.

I was devistated when you left CNN. Two o.clock in the afternoon is just not the samel You were CNN. I liked your style, your voice, your easy banter. I also always remarked how I thought you were always very honest and fair. Hope they bring you back, or if they are not smart enough to keep you, hope to see you else where.

Kinda' miss you on CNN Rick. You were fun to watch, sometimes funny, but always human. I wish you well and I also wish that CNN would bring you back to put a human face to the news.

Hey Rick, Miss seeing you every afternoon on CNN. Your show was the most interesting and lively show they've ever had. Breaking News just doesn't seem the same without your enthusiastic and "interactive" way of reporting. Hope to see you soon behind the anchor desk. Wish it was you who took Larry King's place instead of Piers. No one compares with your style and professionalism.

My husband and I both enjoyed your show on CNN, and felt that your passionate discourse on all things current and meaningful to our lives kept us informed. We miss you so much on CNN, and feel that their afternoon offerings just aren't the same. We both wish you well, and hope that you're soon on another network, or that CNN asks you to come back. Everyone can say things they wish they could take back, especially when they're stressed or tired. I like Jon Stewart, but I've been a little ticked at him over this whole affair ~ I think he could have been a bigger person than he turned out to be.
